For my old CX MB Buddies

Do you recognize Cameron (Tech Boy) out of his Big Green Bug costume?!
Provo Craft was nice to him this year and just had him wear the chefs outfit the same as every one else.

More on CuttleBug embossing

I saw a demo of running craft metal thru the Cuttlebug Textured embossing folder for a really great look. These can then be colored with alcohol inks.

Day 1 CHA trade show

The show was smaller this year.
To me the biggest new thing revealed was the Cricut Cake (but then again I am a tad biased!)
I did look at the Sizzix Eclips but wasn't quite sure about the why and where fore of the hand-held programming unit that is separate from the cutting machine?
Making Memories has a line of funky vintage jewelery findings that is new.
It seemed like a lot of the companies were packaging things more together as kits (K and Company had some really nice page kits bagged up)
Basic Grey has a darling new pet paper line (my fave of all their releases)
Tim Holz' new line of dies for Sizzix were great- I totally want to some to run some grunge board thru my Big Shot with them!

Whipper Snapper Valentines

I made these cards using some Whipper Snapper stamped images that I had on hand- colored in with Copic markers. Patterned papers are from K and Company and Making Memories.
(I hope that the hearts in the papers are hearty enough for the Caardvarks challenge!)

Pop up Elmo

My most recent CreativExpress assignment was to use the Elmo's Party Cricut cartridge. I borrowed my neighbors daughter Elmo to take some photos for my project and this was the thank you card that I crafted to give back to her for letting Elmo come over to play @ my house.

Happy Birdie to you!

Here's a card I did for my friend Nancy's birthday today(Happy B-day Nancy!)
I used Cricut Story book for the cockatiel, scroll, and poppy. The patterned paper is DCWV Mariposa stack.

Get well Pengo

Making this card was my reward to myself for spending the bulk of the day yesterday cleaning my stamp cave! It's so hard to clean when I get distracted by all the "treasures" that I find and want to create with.
This card features oldie but goodie SU! papers and stamps colored in w/ Copic markers for a more modern twist.
