Mojo is burbling back

Finally- here are a couple cards that I made yesterday featuring the Lyrical letters Cricut cartridge.
The mouse card features a stamp by Whipper Snapper, colored w/ Copic, PP is from MME. I used my SU! Top Note die on the inside and layered on the sentiment and flowers from the LL cart.
The Thanks card features papers from the Basic Grey Mellow collection. I did take a little surgical liberty with the "k" -the cart. cuts it to look like a capitol "R".

Background paper is Making Memories Sabrina. Pink die cut- Top Note SU!
Glittery brads are from DoodleBug (leftovers from a CX assignment)

Hey a card!

I made a bunch of these about 2 weeks ago to send out for the Cricut Card Fairies ( we are a bunch of card makers on the Cricut.com message board who send out cards to strangers as RAK's -it's a very rewarding way to put all the cards that I make to good use!)
This was actually a re-working of a card that I had done several years ago- the stamp is from The Angel Company- this time colored in with Copics. I ran the backing piece through a Cuttlebug embossing folder and had fun making the layered punched flowers (punch- SU!)I put a little crystal lacquer over the seal on the stamped image as well just for a little more visual interest.

Me long time no stamp

Yeah- my blog's been pretty boring this past week- my mojo seems to have packed up it's bags and taken a hiatus.
I did manage a Susie Squirrel card this AM (it just seems like it has been way too long since my last squirrel card and they ALWAYS cheer me up)
So here is Miss Susie in the Rain.

chirp chirp chirp

I've been cricutting!
Background papers are from Die Cuts With View little stacks- I like the added oomph the glitter gives them. The cake and sick kitty are actually shaped cards mounted onto "post card" style backs.

April CX projects

Here are some projects that I did for CreativExpress last month featuring My Minds Eye Bellezo papers and of course my trusty Cricut!
They also feature Tattered Angels glimmer mist -which as a new product for the store.

Verse for the 'vaarks

The latest theme @ Caardvarks is to use a verse on a card.
This is one of my very most favorite stampies- I got it in a Canadian stamp store on my honeymoon. That makes it special in and of itself!
The verse is by William Blake and the stamp is by Wordsworth.
I had a lot of fun with all my SU! flower punches embellishing the card.

He's from Inkadinkado, colored with Copics.

Mushroom Trip

These mushies from Digital Stamp Oasis ended up like a flash back to the 60's! I wanted to color them in to match the patterned papers- hence the teal blue stripes on the shrooms stalk! I think I may have gone a tad over board on this one... oh dear!

2 more cards...

The new Copic markers have my mojo flowwing. I picked up two 8x8 DCWV paper stacks at Big Lots for $3 each and broke them in too. I got the glittery flowers one and the Far East one. I was kind of freaked out about the Far East one though because I read on another stamping board that the Asian characters are for sinister words like death, murder, revenge. SO I'll have to rip those all out and toss them. Even if the recipient doesn't know what they mean it just seems like bad juju to send something like that to someone! Give me the peace, serenity, relax ,and prosper kanji!

A couple cards this AM

I have been going a bit bonkers coloring lately since I got the Copic markers. For comparison the Penny Black duck card was colored using Tombows and the Rubbernecker party frog and Dustin Pike monkey are done with Copics.
