Psssst-A little secret....
Did you know that often times Recollections paper pads @ Michaels are major scrapbook companies older lines repackaged for them?
Here is a delightful example of Recollections Neopolitan pad was originally American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neopolitan line. How do I know this? Because I had purchased the AC line and my friend whipped out her identical Recollections pad LOL.
Last year, I found 2 My Minds Eye collections repackaged for Recollections as Portobello Road and Union Square. You can bet that I swooped those up too!
Here's a lil card I just whipped up. I love the fun lil poloroid image. As you can see I also succombed to the washi trend and bought my 1 st few rolls.

Darcie's
These great lil goodies are from Darcie's shrink plastic CDs.
It was very cool stuff that you could print her lovely images on from your computer then heat with your embossing tool to create these wonderful little dimensional charms.
Cosmo Cricket
CC is another one of my perennial favorites.
I love how they wove the paper strips on this lay out.
I really like the tags clustered on this lay out

And lastly me playing with the fun magnetic shapes...
Melissa Frances @ CHA
Aren't these little houses just enchanting- I wanted to drink some of Alice's special tea and shrink down so that I could go into them!
CHA misc.
Here are a few orphan images from the show...
The first is stunning canvas from Tattered Angels
(Those are real paint brushes on there!)
Next up we have a fun printers tray box from 7 gypsies
Next is a card that we made @ the Tombow booth that will be sent over seas for the troops to use to correspond back home with
Authentique @ CHA
Here's a fabulous little card that I made @ their booth. They are bringing out little packets of these file folders (which just say CARD! to me)They had a bunch of die cuts and inks out and let us just assemble them as we liked. Very Fun.
More samples from their booth.
CHA 2013- Washi Washi
First off-I confess-I didn't take very many pix so far but hope to remedy that today.
Trends spotted so far- herring bone pattern, pleated rosettes are still a hot embellie, washi tape.
Here is a pic of Crate papers washi tape sticker page that you slice to order with your trimmer
Here is a 6 x 6 pad from We Are Memory Keepers that is also sticky backed
Here is a cute chore chart display that they had with it
I also got to try out WRMKs new envelope making tool- loved it and the fact that it should retail for less than $20. They said that they will have a one time offering of it on HSN as well.

I can't wait to see the new WRMK envelope tool and the new Tim Holtz distress paints. I could stand all day @ the Ranger booth and watch their stable of talent create on the fly. For the first time ,I have some classes this year. I got into 2 presented by Marvy Uchida and am wait listed on one by Hero Arts for Friday. The show opens in earnest on Saturday morning. A big thanks to my Cricut pal Amy for being my CHA connection this year. I am so thankful to all my friends in the business who have gotten me into the show over the years.I will be posting pix on my blog of all my favorite vendors booth so be sure to come back this weekend.
