Back again!

I am still here and alive! I went on a fun scrapbooking cruise came back and was seriously under the weather for a few days. I thought that I would share a few of the Christmas cards that I have been working on this year. This card features a digi stamp image from PollyCraft stamps. Copic markers, Cuttle bug embossing folder, Martha Stewart punches,Recollections patterned papers, Prima flowers,Stickles, and Spellbinders nestabilities.

Here's a lil card I whipped up yesterday as a thank you for a fabric swap I participated in on . I used Basic Grey's Lucille line for the papers- I love the whole vintage retro sewing vibe of it. The woman is cut from the Cricut Suburbia cartridge. Sentiment stamp-SU!

Another Autumn Card

This card also features the Harvest Lane line from SImple Stories- I cannot get enough of it. I love the colors, the patterns, the designs, EVERYTHING!

1 card 3 ways

YIKES! Thanksgiving totally crept up on me and I had no cards ready. I tried working on a Cricut card yesterday and just did not like it at all. So this AM I chucked it all in the trash (that felt GREAT!) and pulled out my trusty Simple Stories and whipped these puppies up. I am much much happier now :-)

Day 6 Christmas Card

Oh my -where has this month gone?! I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week. I am soooo woefully behind on these Christmas cards! Here is my take on the Day 6 card-( see here on the Memory Works blog for the original card sketch.) I turned mine sideways and used Simple Stories Handmade Holiday papers and stickers.

ahhhh-it is getting to be my favorite time of the year! I love Autumn and Halloween. Here is a card that I made this past week for a SU! stamp camp featuring the greetings card kids set and the big medallion stamp.I embellished w/ some SU! buttons and twine. I also used some of my hand-dyed rayon seam binding.The little witch is painted w/ water color crayons.

I loved this card design by Jen del Muro and lifted it to use with Simple Stories "Fabulous" line. Instead of cutting individual strips of paper, I just trimmed off a portion of one the border segments to achieve a similar look.

Transitions

I am excited to announce that I will be returning to offering home workshops starting this September. After 2 1/2 years of working with Michaels, I felt a bit stifled by only being able to present the corporate approved ciriculum. My latest passion has been the Simple Stories line . (So much so that I signed up as a Memory Works consultant a year ago just so I could get my mitts on all of it for my personal use) My workshops will feature this fabulous line of products that make scrapping fun and easy again. Here is a sample lay out that I did featuring the "Happy Day" collection which will also be featured in my September workshop.

CTMH Artiste B-day card

Here's a card that I made to break in my new Cricut

CTMH Artiste cart- which I love love LOVE!!! The cupcake, banner, and medallion were all cut with cartridge. The cupcake and sentiment stamps both coordinate w/ the Cricut cuts- which is just fabulous. Papers- Die Cuts with a view Ink and embossing powder-Ranger Rayon seam binding tape i-rock metal blings

I did this LO for the Hard Core crop challenge to use strips of cardstock. PP and Stickers are from Simple Stories Punches- SU!

CAS card

Here is another card entry for the Core'dinations Hard Core crop. This challenge was just to use card stock. I ran one white core matte through an embossing folder and then sanded it down. I used the Parisian Nights pack and stamped and punched the accent images from it. Stamps and punches- SU!

I made this card as an entry for the Core'dinations hard core crop. I made my own ornament embellie by punching the Tim Holtz Core'dinations card stock w/ the SU! ornament punch- I ran them thru with a Cuttlebug embossing folder- then sanded them down. The background papers and sticker are from Simple Stories.

I made a bunch of these using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. Ran the fronts though 2 different embossing folders. Finished them off with some of my hand dyed seam binding and Ranger Liquid pearl accents.

Mixed Bunch Cards

Just breaking in some goodies from a SU! order that I got last week.
The stamps set is Mixed Bunch and I got the coordinating big flower punch for it. However ,I did not have the 3/4 circle punch for it but found that the Martha Stewart medallion punch that I did have works great.
The patterned paper is SU! Beau Chateau.
If you have taken my Martha Stewart Punch around the page classes @ Micahels- you will recognize the basic card sketch LO is from the class-I Love how versatile it is- just change up the papers and punch set and you have a whole new look.

Vintage Roses

More of the lovely DCWV Botanical stack.
I fussy cut the roses from a second sheet of the rose trellis paper, flipped them, and mounted them in the upper right corner.I also trimmed off the diamond border so that I could extend it across the second page. I added some Stickles to the flower centers.
I used Cricut Elegant Edges for the large frame and Cricut Graphically Speaking for the title.

I am so in love with the vintage botanicals paper stack from Die Cuts with a View.
