Cupcake card

I just love this cupcake off the hello kitty cart.
I used 2 different kinds of glitter on it (You can never have enough glitter!) I ran the white frosting top through my Xyron and dumped on fine glitter and then glopped red stickles on the cherry. I ran the cupcake cup through my crimper for a little texture and dimension. The background patterned paper is the Sabrina Collection byt Making Memories from Michaels.

Party Favors

I made these for my DH's 50th b-day party this past weekend.
His favorite food is strawberries.
The Paper Trey strawberry stamps and circles were just perfect for creating the layered end embellishment.
I used the Cricut tags ,bags and boxes to cut the cake boxes and then scored them up very quickly on the Scor-pal.
(I filled them with chocolates- what else is there?!)

Faith and Begorrah!

It's time for a new holiday.
Nothing makes us card makers happier than another holiday to stamp for and St Paddy's is next.
(The fact that I am of Irish extraction has nothing to do with it as if you couldn't guess from my name)
So bring on the taties, neeps, and green beer!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

....from the holy terror herself, Miss Daisy!
(The chocolates are just a prop- she did NOT eat any of them- now I just wish I could say the same for my eye glasses, my sons ether net cable, 2 cat toys, and the Thursday LA Times that she shredded this week! The good news is that her puppy teeth are falling out so I am thinking (Hoping!) that this is her last hurrah of super sassyness!)

HK Mail Boxes

My friend Simmy swapped me a couple of these Target mail boxes (they are always out of the cute stuff whenever I hit the dollar spot!)
I used Cricut Hello Kitty greetings and a K and Company Valentines slab to decorate it. I am quite happy with how it turned out!

HK Valentines

I broke in my Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge this weekend and have to say that I am in love with it!It's very easy to use- much less layers and fiddley bits than the Disney cart.s. I love that you can do shaped cards with it as well.
Here is a valentine that I did for my neices- I used MM Sabrina papers and the cuttlebug embossing folder. That nifty silver edged ribbon was one of my steals from CODWholesale.com.

Variations on a theme

I did this little Penny Black hedgie card first and then decided that I wanted to do another using the little SU! Skunk. I found that the magic pencil technique is really the best way to color in a skunk- other wise if you just color them in all black they look awfully flat.
I used the SU! Top Note die (love love love it!) and then my Marvy scallop punch. I used my Scor-Pal to emboss some edges on the white card.

Penny Black Circle Card

I happened upon this blog "PennyBlackChallenge" a few weeks ago and just love all the gorgeous cards there and it's a great motivator to get me to use my Penny Black stamps more!
Here's a valentine that I did using that great doily cut on the Cricut Wild Cards Cartridge.

Invasion of the Jet Max Cubes

I admit it- I haven't been too crafty lately. I got a burr in my bee-hind 3 weeks ago when Mike's had the Jet Max storage cubes on sale to re-do my stamp cave.... 22 cubes later!!!
I still haven't quite finished re-loading the room yet. There are some items that are positively flummoxing me as to where they should go. But over all it is a vast vast improvement.
