I found this fun little project over at the Scor-Pal website . Credit goes to Jen del Muro for the inspiration.
I used the Cricut Joys of the Season cartridge to cut the pointsettias. I have to say that they are making me like the cart. more-it is definitely NOT one of my fave cart.s (I don't quite get why you would really want to cut the 12 days of Christmas more than once!) but the cart is growing on me for certain cuts. On the tags inside-I cut the pointettia on the ornament function and then cut the hanger thingie off the top. That left me with a nice negative space of the pointettia to build upon.
I also used Mini Monograms for the shapes- again the font is not one my faves-if you cut it small some of the bits are too fiddley to work with HOWEVER it is great for cutting any sized scalloped circle or square that you want and that in and of if itself is worth the cost of the cart.
