Gloober flower demo @ Cosmo Cricket

I was entranced by this demo @ the CC booth. I had only been winding up ribbons for my big flowers and the demo here showwed how to use a long strip of fabric (satin was gorgeous)- fold in half the long way- then accordian fold it up, using a sharp pair of scissors- cut either a scallop border or diamond border on the one folded segment(like when you make a folded paper doll chain).Unfold. Then adhere to your gloober from the outside to the inner most point, and finish off w/ a button inside.

Criuct "cutbook" pages

ProvoCraft

Not a lot going on @ the PC booth this year-only 1 cut book out, some of the samples I think I have seen on the Circle Blog. It was very nice to see "Tech Boy" from old CreativExpress days.(And he wasn't shoved in a big green bug suit!)

Ranger

I just wanted to rush home and get inky after looking at the gorgeous samples and watching the demos @ the Ranger booth.

Random pix

Paper peacock @ DCWV booth
Incredible gown covered with flowers and bling (the lady @ the booth said that it took her 6 months to create)
And lastly a booth full of feathers- how my cats would love this!

Pretties from Prima

Some Guy...

stamping.
He sure drew mighty big crowds :-)
(I think that they might just crown Tim the King of CHA- he had stuff with so many companies- RAnger, Ellison, Stampers Anonymous, and his own line idea-ology

CHA Day 1

One of my new favorite companies- aren't these just exquisite?
They make the most intricate thin plate dies- their samples were making me drool!

Love is in the Air Blog Hop

Welcome to the Love is in the Air blog hop hosted by Paulette from Around the Block with Scrapalette! You should have arrived here from Terri's blog .
If you didn't, you can go to Around the Block with Scrapalette http://scrapalette.blogspot.com/. Start at the beginning of the hop and enter to win blog candy.
Our projects are all about love and Valentine's Day.

Oops- sorry I am late!!!

Here are a couple cards that I made as variations on the same pattern- the hearts are cut from SweetHerats, The critters from Create-a-Critter, and the Robot is from Robotz.

The patterened papers are from K and Company-I love how they went so well with the critters and bot!

I learned how to make my own wobbler mechanism for them here.

Leave me a comment and I will pull a name at random for some blog candy on Monday afternoon.
( I am headed to CHA tomorrow and will be too beat- but will try to post some CHA pix here tomorrow nite when I get home-emphasis on Cricut- of course!)

My 1st Wobbler-Doodle Pantry Challenge

I wish that you could see this card in action- the bird image is printed, colored ,and then cut out and mounted on a "woobler" spring that I made by wrapping some wire around a pen a few times and mounting either end on a punched circle. One end of the spring is taped to the birds back and the other to the card front. It is SOOOOO cute when it wobbles. I think that I am going to all my valentines this year as wobblers.

I got the adorable birdie digi stamp as a freebie from the Doodle Pantry.
The patterned paper is from Jillibean soup and the ribbon is SU!, markers are Copic.
